Geographical Location of the Beni Suef Province

     + The province of Beni Suef is Considered within Regional Planning of the North of Upper Egypt, bounded in the north province of Giza and in the south province of Minya and in the east provinces of the Red Sea and Suez, and in the west the province of Fayoum. The total area of ​​the province is (10954 km 2) and the approximated estimated population of 2008-2009 is (2.34 million) person. The province of Beni Suef is consists of ( 7) administrative districts- El-Wasta,  Nasser, Beni Suef,  Ehnasia, Somosta, Beba and the El-Fashne- and (7) cities and (38) and rural local units and (225) villages.

      + Ehnasia has been the capital of Egypt for more than 190 years in the Pharaonic era.
